Picture the end of a long day: a hot, quiet room, red light on your skin, your phone left outside. And it is ten steps from your kitchen, not a drive to the gym.

The Relaxe Caldera is an infrared sauna that comes with a full-body red light panel in the same order. Here are seven reasons its owners give for buying one, in their own words.

1

The red light is already in the box

You do not buy a sauna and then go looking for a panel. Every Caldera comes with a full-body red light therapy panel: 180 LEDs, red light at 660 nm and near-infrared at 850 nm, plus protective glasses. Relaxe lists the panel as an $899 value.

Owners treat it as a feature in its own right, not an extra.

“I use the red light almost everyday, even if I don’t sauna.”
Jessica G., owner review, One Person
“I use the red light panel while the sauna heats up.”
Eileen R., owner review, Two Person

“I should go” becomes “I’m already home”

A sauna at the gym is one more errand. A sauna at home is a door you walk through. That is the real reason to own one, and the reviews show it: 86 of the 87 owners who reviewed the Caldera say they use it every day (27) or several times a week (59). One uses it weekly. Those are their own answers on the review form, given when they wrote the review.

What they describe is a routine, not a gadget.

“I listen to my favorite podcast each morning and let the sauna do the rest.”
Brennen S., owner review, One Person
“The sauna is my evening escape”
Leslie B., owner review, Two Person
“Spending 20-25 minutes in it daily is very relaxing and gives me a little bit of me time.”
Mike G., owner review, One Person
“I had been going to our gym for saunas and decided I’d like to have one at home for convenience…”
Eileen R., owner review, Two Person

A full year to be sure

A $3,999 sauna is a big yes to give on faith, so Relaxe does not ask for it. You get a 365-day home trial. If it is not right for you, you can return it for a full refund of the sauna price, with no restocking fees. You pay the return shipping, so read the full terms on the product page before you order.

A year covers the cold months and the warm ones. It is long enough to find out whether you actually go, and to decide with a habit behind you rather than a review.

One owner’s first worry was that the price looked too good.

“I was hesitant because the price was so good.”

One owner of the Two Person had a plain tip for anyone deciding between sizes:

“If you want to stretch or lay down I’d recommend investing in the larger one.”
David M., owner review, Two Person

Check the power first

Relaxe lists a standard outlet for the One Person, a dedicated 20 A circuit for the Two Person and a dedicated 240 V circuit for the Three Person. Owners describe different outlet setups at home, so confirm the requirement for your size on the product page and ask an electrician if you are unsure.

It arrives in days, and help is a message away

Relaxe lists free shipping and 2 to 5 day U.S. delivery. One owner ordered on a Sunday morning and had the sauna on Thursday. It comes flat-packed in three to four labelled boxes, with a screw kit and an installation guide, and Relaxe says two people can put it together with basic tools.

If you get stuck, you are not on your own. Owners who reached out to support describe fast, useful answers, including assembly videos.

“I had many questions and even asked for a video on how to put it together and the help I received was fast and so helpful.”
Michelle, owner review, One Person
“…the delivery time was amazingly fast. Third, the assembly instructions, and videos make it very easy to put together.”
Yeshvant N., owner review, Three Person

Once it is up, the temperature runs from 64 to 149 °F and the timer from 0 to 90 minutes. Some owners switch on the red light panel while the sauna heats.

If something goes wrong, someone answers

Relaxe lists a three-year warranty with technician service. The product page covers heaters, electronics and wood panels, with free replacement parts and U.S.-based technician support. It does not name the red light panel in that list, so read the warranty terms to see exactly what is covered.

A heavy product in several boxes can arrive with a damaged part. Some owners say it happened to them. The ones who wrote about it describe how it was handled:

“A glass paneled shattered but the company replaced it quickly and all went well.”
Sandra W., owner review, Two Person
“I needed a replacement part and customer service was outstanding. Very responsive with daily updates.”
Gary K., owner review, Two Person

Owners say it was worth it

On the product page the Caldera is rated 4.9 out of 5 from 87 reviews: 79 five-star, 8 four-star, none lower. All 87 reviewers recommend it.

“Our friends bought a sauna at a big box discount store recently, but I feel like this investment was worth the extra $.”
Amy H., owner review, Two Person
“I’ve used many dry saunas before, but this one is far better.”
Dori L., owner review, Two Person
“Easy setup, did it by myself. Great features and looks. Super relaxing. Really enjoying it!! Cannot beat the price for what you get”

How we checked this page

Prices, the offer, delivery, trial and warranty terms come from the Relaxe product page. Owner quotes are from the reviews on that page, quoted as written and sometimes shortened. Individual experiences vary.

What it costs

From $3,999, with three sizes

The One Person size starts at $3,999. On the product page it shows 24% off a $5,299 total value, and the Fall Season Offer banner says savings of up to 35%. The Two Person is $5,499 and the Three Person is $7,999.

Relaxe describes its “total value” as a comparison figure set from the selling prices of similar products, not a price the sauna was sold at before. Fall Season Offer pricing is a limited-time offer and may end without notice.

Questions before you buy

How long does it take to heat up?

Owners report about 15 to 30 minutes on the One Person and 30 to 60 minutes on the Two Person, depending on the temperature they want. The heat is adjustable from 64 to 149 °F. Some owners use the red light panel while they wait.

How hard is it to put together?

It comes flat-packed in three to four labelled boxes with a screw kit and an installation guide, and Relaxe says two people can assemble it with basic tools. If you get stuck, owners say support answers fast and sends assembly videos.

Do I need an electrician?

It depends on the size and your home. Relaxe lists a standard outlet for the One Person, a dedicated 20 A circuit for the Two Person and a dedicated 240 V circuit for the Three Person. Owners describe different setups, so check the requirement for your size on the product page and ask an electrician if you are unsure.

Which size should I choose?

The One Person is the default and the one that suits a smaller space. A Two Person owner suggests going larger if you want to stretch out or lie down. Measure your room against the dimensions in reason 4 first.

What if a part arrives damaged?

It can happen with a heavy product shipped in several boxes. Several owners who reported a damaged part describe a quick replacement. Relaxe also lists a three-year warranty with technician service and free replacement parts. The product page does not name the red light panel in the coverage list, so read the warranty terms.

What if I do not like it?

Relaxe offers a 365-day home trial. You can return the sauna for a full refund of the sauna price with no restocking fees, and you cover the return shipping.

Does this page make health claims?

No. This page describes what the sauna includes and what owners say about owning it. It does not claim that a sauna or a red light panel treats or prevents any condition. If you have a medical condition, talk to your doctor before you start using a sauna.
