Why Relaxe comes out ahead

A full year to decide.

Relaxe gives you 365 days at home. If the sauna is not right for you, you can return it for a full refund of the sauna price, with no restocking fees. You pay the return shipping, so read the terms on the product page. Costco’s sauna listings carry its general satisfaction guarantee “with some exceptions and limitations”. A sauna is something you learn to live with, and a year covers every season.

In your home in days.

Relaxe lists free shipping and 2 to 5 day U.S. delivery. It comes flat-packed in three to four labelled boxes, with a screw kit and an installation guide, and Relaxe says two people can put it together with basic tools. The two Costco listings give an estimated delivery time of approximately 2 to 3 weeks from the time of order, by curbside freight, and say the driver does not bring it indoors or help with setup.

The Caldera is an infrared sauna with a full-body red light panel included. The temperature runs from 64 to 149 °F and the timer from 0 to 90 minutes, and some owners switch on the red light panel while the sauna heats. The Two Person measures 47 by 43 by 75 inches.

Relaxe lists a three-year warranty with technician service. The product page covers heaters, electronics and wood panels, with free replacement parts and U.S.-based technician support.

Check the power first

The Two Person needs a dedicated 120 V, 20 A circuit. Costco lists 120 V at 15 A for the Aveiro and 120 V at 20 A for the Evora. Confirm the requirement for your home on the product page and ask an electrician if you are unsure.

What it costs

From $3,999, with three sizes

The Two Person is $5,499, which the product page shows as 30% off a $7,899 total value. The One Person size starts at $3,999, which shows 24% off a $5,299 total value, and the Three Person is $7,999. The Fall Season Offer banner says savings of up to 35%.

Questions before you buy

Does this comparison count a Costco membership against Costco?

No. If you are already shopping at Costco, you probably have a membership, so we have left it out of the comparison.

Why these two Costco saunas?

They are two of the full spectrum infrared saunas Costco lists, a two-person and a three-person model, both from Dynamic, which makes most of the infrared saunas in Costco’s results. Costco also lists infrared saunas at lower prices, and we have kept to full spectrum models in this class.

How long do I get to try the Relaxe sauna?

365 days at home. You can return the sauna for a full refund of the sauna price with no restocking fees, and you cover the return shipping.

How hard is it to put together?

It comes flat-packed in three to four labelled boxes with a screw kit and an installation guide, and Relaxe says two people can assemble it with basic tools. If you get stuck, owners say support answers fast and sends assembly videos.

Do I need an electrician?

The Relaxe Two Person lists a dedicated 120 V, 20 A circuit. Costco lists 120 V at 15 A for the Aveiro and 120 V at 20 A for the Evora. Owners describe different setups at home, so check the requirement on the product page and ask an electrician if you are unsure.

What if a part arrives damaged?

It can happen with a heavy product shipped in several boxes. Several owners who reported a damaged part describe a quick replacement. Relaxe also lists a three-year warranty with technician service and free replacement parts. The product page does not name the red light panel in the coverage list, so read the warranty terms.

Does this page make health claims?

No. This page compares prices, features and terms and quotes what owners say about owning the sauna. It does not claim that a sauna or a red light panel treats or prevents any condition. If you have a medical condition, talk to your doctor before you start using a sauna.
